Kate Dodd began her career as a careers adviser wishing to work at the interface between education and industry. She was Director of the Careers Service at the University of Warwick between 2000 and 2004. During this time she was a member of the executive Board of AGCAS. Following this she was Director of Warwick’s Students’ Services; moving from there to Birmingham University as Director of Student Life.
Kate recently joined York University as their Academic Registrar at. She is an executive member of AMOSSHE – the student services organisation. She has an MBA in Higher Education Management and contributes to this programme at the Institute of Education, University of London on the module on the student experience. Her interest in how universities prepare students for the demands and opportunities of graduate life continues to underpin her approach to work - and to inspire her.
